Feel the speed!
This is where you can really get going! The new Jüterbog Skate Arena is right next to the Flaeming-Skate and is judged by skating aficionados to be Germany's best track.
As well as a 200 metre long and 5.85 metre wide oval track and a 20 x 40 metre hockey field, there are numerous ancillary facilities providing a multifunctional service.
There is also a street circuit in the Skate Arena. It is 500 metres in length and six metres wide, with left and right-hand bends as well as uphill and downhill sections. Its size makes it particularly suitable for competitions.
The Jüterbog Skate Arena is the perfect venue for professional training camps, as a training ground for personal improvement, or for top-level competitions. The track competitions for the European Speed Skating Championships held here in August 2005 were real showstoppers.
